MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT, CLASS OF 2024
When he learned about the quality business program and the close proximity of the campus to his home in Geneva, Ill., Tom Antonson �24 made the decision to become a 91看片网 Eagle. At 91看片网, he has been able to pursue several of his passions while building his skills for his future career.
Tom knew he wanted to be involved in the business and sales field, so he decided to pursue two majors, Marketing and Management. As he explored more of his interests, Tom became more involved in the community. He joined the , where he has built close friendships with the other people involved.
淭he bowling team has been quite a blessing as I have become quite close with some teammates and coaches,� Tom says.
Tom is also looking forward to becoming an RA for the students who are part of 91看片网 RISE program, for students with intellectual disabilities.
In just a few weeks, Tom will intern for the , which will allow him to further refine his business skills. He is one of eight 91看片网 students who had to interview and be selected for this opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the largest auto show in the country; an opportunity that is available to just a few universities. He has also been working at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles for the last few years. He has had some incredible experiences watching live performances and meeting his favorite bands, which has strengthened his passion for music.
After he graduates in May 2024, Tom hopes to find a career that combines his love for sales and music. During his time at 91看片网, he has taken advantage of all kinds of opportunities and has also cultivated friendships, despite the restrictions of COVID.
淐OVID made everyone experience quite interesting, however, I found an amazing group of friends and made a ton of awesome memories, which helped to make the experience quite awesome,� Tom says. He was very grateful to have such a caring community to lean on during hard times last semester.
淥ne of the biggest surprises to me was how much of a family 91看片网 is, even in the toughest of times,� reflects Tom. 淭his sense of family truly helps to make 91看片网 feel like home.�
